Johnny Taylor

A Los Angeles native,  Johnny comes to Salon Benjamin from a diverse artistic and business background.  After studying at UCLA, Johnny attended  Otis Parsons studying fashion illustration before deciding upon a career in the beauty industry.

With nearly 12  years as a color and chemical specialist at top salons in the Beverly Hills area,  Johnny’s talents  as a Color and Chemical Specialist run the gamut ranging from dimensional highlights, fashion color, Brazilian and Japanese straightening, perms, natural color, color corrections, and ombre.

Johnny began his career training under the tutelage of Jonathan Gale where he developed his eye for creating beautiful, natural color results. Combining  his knowledge of fashion, art and color with his  fanatical  perfection in formulation and application processes, he quickly worked his way to the top of his field.

Johnny manages to exceed each clients expectation with exceptional results time after time with his signature style of hair color.
